Setting the correct tire inflation pressure is an important step in the pre-delivery process and during routine maintenance intervals. Recent customer clinics revealed that most every vehicle in the clinics had the tire pressures set incorrectly. Tire pressures from the factory are not set to the correct specification. Maintaining the correct tire pressure is key to the ride characteristics of the vehicle and affects ride quality, handling, load capacity and tire wear.
