Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles may have a no power or no connect concern. Technician will find that the OnStar led is red and Diagnostic Trouble Code U1500 is set. Technician will need to replace the Vehicle Communication Interface Module if the Station Identification number falls in the ranges 14,000,000 - 16,000,000 or 22,000,000 - 23,200,000.
