Official summary

Mercedes: seat belts, emergency tensioning retractors. Model series 204 (with codes 299 and 800), 207, 212. Seat belt can only be pulled out with great effort. At the same time a noise can be heard from the reversible reel tensioner gearing. Customer continuously pulled on seat belt strap while adjusting the fit of the belt after buckling up (to reduce the slack).
