This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles with the service engine soon lamp that comes on. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code U0101. Technician should review the appropriate Service Information diagnostics for DTC U0101. Also gather all other diagnostic trouble codes in the vehicle and which modules they are set in. The transmission connector pins should be checked for damaged terminals or poor terminal fit. Also inspect the under hood fuse block for damaged terminals or poor terminal fit and mis-positioned fuses in fuse block. In
