This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about to install steering wheel mounted audio controls on a vehicle that was not originally built with that option. It is possible to install audio Steering Wheel Controls at the customer's expense. Technician will also need to reprogram the Body Control Module by contacting Techline Customer Support Center.
