Official summary
2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles require installation of a cold plate when replacing a HV battery module. Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 414-03A, removal and installation, has been updated with improved diagnostics and direction for HV battery module replacement. If the parts catalog note states that a cold plate must also be ordered for the HV battery module(s) that are needing replaced, the called out corelating cold plate is required for repair.
