Official summary
Some 2020-2022 Escape, 2021-2022 Bronco Sport and 2022 Maverick vehicles may require servicing of the interior door handle lock cable mounting bracket on the interior door handle. The interior door handle cable mounting bracket, part number right hand LJ6Z-78431B14-A and left hand LJ6Z-78431B15-A are now available to service separately from the cables and latch mechanisms. It is no longer necessary to replace the complete latch assembly for a damaged interior door handle lock indicator mounting bracket.
