The defect

Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling one 2023 H3-45 vehicle. The emergency exit window may require excessive force to open. As such, this vehicle fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."

The fix — what to do

Prevost will inspect and adjust the emergency exit window, if necessary, free of charge. The owner notification letter was mailed April 14, 2023. Owners may contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046. Prevost's number for this recall is SR23-08.
