  • 3.0 Duramax engine failure at 5900 miles. Apparently is from the known thrust bearing issue. MIL, CEL, TCM illuminated. Failure occurred at 60 mph during rush hour traffic. Engine is being replaced under warranty. GM should issue recall for the affected lot of this engine.
