What owners report
“While under acceleration shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear entering a highway from an on ramp, the transmission seems to disengage causing the engine to rev up to a high rpm momentarily then suddenly re-engage without warning. This always happens under heavy acceleration especially when going into traffic on to a highway…”

“I was entering a freeway on ramp accelerating when I had trouble shifting from 3rd gear to 4th. Instead of shifting into 4th it went into a neutral state and nothing in the gear box felt like it was engaging.”
Power Train · filed May 9, 2015
“I purchased a 1999 victory v92 motorcycle and the third gear immediately malfunctioned. I found a recall to prevent the failure. Does this apply to the failure itself. I spoke with polaris and they want $3400 to repair the bike and then they will complete the recall repairs. *tr”
