Official summary
2025-2026 Explorer/Aviator vehicles are no longer equipped with light emitting diode (LED) confirmation on the vehicles key fob indicating that the vehicle has remote started (or not remote started). Factory key fobs with remote start no longer contain an LED feedback indicator. Do not replace the key fob for this condition. This is a normal operating characteristic and no service action is necessary.
