Official summary
SWITCH Instrument Panel Before replacing the driver window switch, please follow these steps: 1.- Review the Trailer brake Switch for any physical issue (Button stuck, broke). If no physical issue identified, move to next steps. 2.- Make sure the switch harness is properly connected, disconnect the switch and reconnect it, and reverify the issue. 3.- Check for what DTC are detected and take proper steps. 4.- Review the internal resistance of the switch to corroborate if it is shorted: a) Between Pins 10&2 it should be around 13ohms +/- 4ohms b) Between Pins 3 & 4 and 4 & 6, 160 ohms +/-10 Ohms
