Official summary
SWITCH Multifunction Before replacing the steering column control module (SCCM) due to DTC U0212 active, please follow these steps: 1.- Refer to service library procedure and follow diagnosis steps at BCM. 2.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches' and airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion or pinching, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 3.- Verify if failure is still present, review if there is lack of communication between SCCM and BCM. For example, activate turn signals or wipers. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session
