Official summary
Some 2024 F-150 vehicles equipped with console shift may exhibit a clicking sound coming from the shifter after it is placed and kept in the reverse, neutral or drive positions. This may be due to the software in the gear shift module (GSM). To correct this concern, reprogram the GSM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool.
