Official summary
Rotary Electronic Shifter Customer reports seeing "Service Shifter" in the EVIC due to AUX battery voltage low. Before performing repair process for a "Service Shifter" complaint, check for Battery/Voltage related codes. Battery related issue with DTC P00FD (Battery "B" State of Charge Performance) or P1C8C-16 (System Voltage-Circuit Voltage Below Threshold) will trigger P0607-00 and U145D-00 ESM failures.
