3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel - Sales Code EXF A crankshaft locking tool marked 630 is installed on all 3.0L EXG long blocks (Lower rear left side of block under starter location). This tool locks the crankshaft at 30? ATDC. Refer to: Valve Timing ? Standard Procedure ? LOCKING ENGINE 30 DEGREE AFTER TDC IN TechCONNECT for further details. This tool must be removed after the the injection pump has been installed on the engine. The tool will be replaced with the engine block plug from the engine being removed. The engine will not turn over with this tool installed.~
