Official summary
Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with On-Board Scale may exhibit DTC U3000:54 stored in the VDM after replacement and will not clear. A warning message may also be displayed in the center display screen. If programmable module installation (PMI) was not followed or the original VDM will not communicate, the U3000:54 may be stored. If the original VDM communicates, perform a PMI before VDM removal. This DTC does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time.
