Complaint Volume and bass level too low Cause Current sound amp (N40/3) software release. Important: â ¢ On vehicles with standard sound, the rear subwoofer (H21/35) emits the engine sound only (if equipped with M139 engine) â ¢ On vehicles with code 853 (Advanced Sound) or 810 (Premium Sound), the rear subwoofer (H21/35) emits not only the engine sound, but also entertainment sound Remedy Perform a software update of the sound amp (N40/3) to the latest available version. Note: Do not replace any parts as this will not remedy the complaint.
