Official summary

Complaint Sporadic warning message in instrument cluster "Engine oil pressure stop switch off vehicle" (or similar) is shown in red on vehicles with low mileage. Cause Directional control valve may stick. Remedy 1- Read off oil level in instrument cluster and correct if necessary. 2- Perform approx. 10-15 engine starts, then clear fault codes. 3- Perform road test with vehicle. If fault code reoccurs during road test: Install new directional control valve.
