Official summary
SERVICE INFORMATION When performing Direct Adaptive Steering (DAST) Calibration (Mode 1): Always use an alignment rack with the front wheels positioned on the turntables and the pins removed. The front wheels must be allowed to move freely. DO NOT perform DAST Calibration (MODE 1) with the front wheels in any other position then listed above. To prevent damaging the spiral cable during DAST Calibration (MODE 1), follow instruction in the ESM. See this bulletin for further detail.
