Official summary
Some 2017-2020 F-Super-Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit hard start, lack of power or runs rough concern with malfunction indicator light (MIL) and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0087 and/or P008A. This may be due to low fuel level or fuel gelling in cold ambient temperatures. If no root cause is determined after normal PCED diagnostic test MA recommend that customer use a different brand of fuel and Motorcraft PM-23-A Diesel Fuel Anti-Gel and Performance Improver.
