Official summary
This Service Information Bulletin outlines design changes made to the TR580 CVT oil pan assembly. The changes are as follows: â ¢ The CVT oil pan material has been changed from steel to aluminum. â ¢ The new aluminum pan has a new, larger diameter drain plug and drain plug gasket. â ¢ The new aluminum pan will be sold as a set consisting of: oil pan, drain plug and drain plug gasket. â ¢ The bolts used to secure the pan to the case are now a flanged type instead of lock-washer type and are reusable.
