Official summary
This Preliminary information communicates that unwanted liftgate opening can occur if the customer leaves a programmed fob in the vicinity of the passive liftgate antenna. If the antenna can locate a programmed fob in said area, the gate will open if the liftgate open switch or hands free sensor is activated.
