Official summary
Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty chassis cab/dual rear wheel (DRW) pickup vehicles and 2016- 2019 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an oil consumption concern in applications where the engine is idled for extended periods of time. This may be due to high crankcase pressure as a result of the crankcase ventilation filter element becoming restricted. To resolve the concern, replace the crankcase vent oil separator. The new crankcase vent oil separator appears different from the old crankcase vent oil separator as it no longer includes a serviceable filter element.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
