Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have the chime sounding for 8 to 10 minutes after the vehicle is running and all the doors closed. The concern may have started after the body control module was updated. Make sure the keyless entry module software is at the latest available from TIS2WEB. The software mismatch between the two modules can cause this concern. If the software is up to date follow normal service information diagnostics.
