Official summary
Some 2018-2019 Escape, Transit Connect and EcoSport vehicles equipped with a keyed ignition and a factory invoiced accessory (FIA) VSS may exhibit intermittent alarm activation with lights flashing and the horn sounding after a loud noise and/or shockwave near the vehicle (ex. large truck passing, garage door slamming closed). The root cause of this concern may be an incorrect shock sensor sensitivity adjustment on the VSS module.
