Blind Spot Detection Sensor If you are replacing this part due to a customer complaint of "Blind spot alert unavailable - wipe rear bumper", please read the following instructions before proceeding. 1) Verify that the rear bumper is clear of any obstructions. The process to clear the blockage message involves first cycling the ignition. 2) The vehicle must be driven on the road and pass/be passed by vehicles on both the left and right sides.
