Official summary
Some 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with an audio unit antenna may be damaged due to over travel of the hood. Removal of hood struts will allow the hood to over travel and contact the antenna base resulting in damage. Support of the hood is recommended prior to hood strut removal. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-02.
