Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information and definitionsto the technician about vehicles that have fishbite, chuggle, misfire,AFM disturbances or torque converter shudder/vibrationconcerns. Technician are advised to use PICO software to determine root cause of the concern. If torque converter shudder is confirmed and no debris is found in the transmission fluid pan the technicians are instructed to flush the transmission fluid three times. If debris is found in the transmission fluid pan the technicians are instructed to also replace the torque converter.
