Official summary

Some 2017 F-Super Duty vehicles with 6.7L diesel engines may exhibit a fuel knock type noise at idle with various cylinder contribution/balance DTCs and/or Fuel Injector Offset Learn DTCs. To resolve this issue please use the following procedure: 1) Make sure ECT1 and EOT are above 176Å?F (80Å?C). 2) Using the IDS or FJDS, run the Manual Injector Balance Test/Enhanced Power Balance Test under Toolbox, Powertrain, Power Balance.
