Official summary
Some 2017 Explorer vehicles may exhibit a loose mastic patch on the inside of the front doors causing a rattle noise while driving or when closing the door. It is not necessary to replace the door to correct this issue. Remove any loose portion of the patch and replace with locally obtained mastic patch cut to the appropriate size, such as the 3M 500mm x 500mm sound deadening pad, part number MMM-8840 or equivalent. For claiming, use causal part 24630 and applicable labor operations in section 12 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
