Official summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician may find DTCs P057C and or P057D. Some vehicles may have cruise and brake light operation service stability message with Diagnostic Trouble Codes C0161 and C0277. Technician will need to inspect connector X205 for loose, backed out, or bent terminals using the appropriate terminal test probe.
