Official summary
TSB: Some 2010 - 2015 model year Lexus vehicles with the RES+ accessory may exhibit a condition of not being able to remote start the vehicle through their smart phone application in some areas. The user will receive a mobile device message "Waiting the answer from VIN", indicating the network was unable to connect to their vehicle. The cause of this may be related to the provider's 3G and 4G wireless infrastructure upgrades, resulting in the elimination of 2G network capabilities. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to address this condition.
