Official summary
Some 2017 f-series super duty pickups equipped with a rear auxiliary power point may remain running after the ignition is turned off. Prior to performing any diagnostics, inspect the rear auxiliary power point for any aftermarket devices that can supply voltage back into the vehicle. Items such as a battery jump pack can induce voltage that will simulate key on status and prevent the powertrain control module (pcm) from shutting off the engine. If no aftermarket devices can be located, refer to workshop manual (wsm), section 211-05 for normal diagnostics.
