Official summary
Some model x vehicles might have been built with incorrect front halfshafts. If full lock steering is applied while the suspension is fully extended, an incorrect halfshaft could overextend, damaging the dust boot or the constant velocity joint. This might lead to a knocking or grinding noise and/or a warning message on the instrument cluster.

What a TSB means. Technical service bulletins are repair guidance manufacturers send to dealers — they are not recalls, and repairs are not automatically free (warranty extensions are an exception worth checking). The full document is available via NHTSA’s vehicle lookup.
