The defect

Hino Motors Sales U.S.A., Inc. (Hino) is recalling certain 2023 NE7A, NJ7A, and NV7A vehicles. The front axle U-bolts that secure the front leaf spring assembly may be over-tightened, which can cause the U-bolts to break and detach.

The risk

Broken U-bolts can result in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
