The headlight back covers, and anti-adjustment caps may have been improperly installed, which can result in headlight failure, or the headlights being adjusted incorrectly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
