The defect

Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain model year 2015 Minotour school buses manufactured August 1, 2013, to June 4, 2014. In the affected vehicles, if the hazard and brake lights are used simultaneously, the circuit may be overloaded and cause the fuse to blow.

The risk

If the fuse blows, the hazard lights and brake lights will cease to function, increasing the risk of a crash.

Check whether your specific vehicle is affected

Recall campaigns often cover only certain VIN ranges. Enter your VIN on the official NHTSA site to confirm whether your vehicle is included and whether the repair is still open.
