The defect

Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2022 Thomas Built Minotour School Buses built on a Ford chassis. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 404, "Platform Lift Installations."

The risk

Bus movement with the wheelchair lift deployed can increase the risk of injury.
