The defect
Vermeer is recalling certain model year 2012 BC1200XL brush chipper trailers because the lug nuts may not have been properly torqued. As a result, the lug nuts could loosen and the wheels could separate from the bush chipper.
The risk
If the wheels separate from the brush chipper, there is an increased risk of personal injury, property damage or a crash.
