  • Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jeep compass 4x4. While servicing his wife's vehicle, the contact noticed lots of rust and holes on the subframe. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and dealer were not contacted. The failure mileage was 75,000.

  • After filling up the gas tank with fuel, the jeep will begin to stutter and the engine will die. Sometimes it happens immediately but other times it takes a few minutes and will happen while in traffic. After the intial stuttering and dying, the car runs fine after restarting but this happens with every fuel fill-up.
