Recall 96v-247 - land rover north america has reported to the national highway traffic safety administration the existence of a manufacturing defect with safety consequences - the right front door on some 1995 and 1996 discovery vehicles may fail to latch fully, causing the door to bounce back off the door seals - to correct this condition, dealers are to install latch mounting fastener and inspect all affected discovery models for correct right hand door latch operation - conduct check of all other side door latches to ensure proper operation - recall 96v-247. *tw
