Bulletin applies to '96 vehicles equipped w/ 2.5l engine (avenger/sebring/ talon built prior to nov. 10, 1995 mdh [11-10-xx]) (cirrus/stratus built prior to sept. 25, 1995 mdh [9-25-xx]). Intermittent speed control cutout during normal operation. Repair involves selectively erasing and preprogram- ming the powertrain control module (pcm) w/ new software (calibration changes).
