Chrysler Sebring 1995–1996 — technical service bulletin

Official summary

Bulletin applies to talon models built prior to jun 1, 1995 (mdh 06-01-xx) and avenger/sebring models built prior to august 2, 1995 (mdh 08-02-xx). Some vehicles may exhibit an intermittent or random activation of the theft alarm when the doors, trunk, and hood are all closed. This may occur during high wind or ambient temperature conditions. A hood that is over flush may also contribute to the condition. Bulletin involves adding shims to the switch for talon models or adding a foam shim to the inner hood for avenger/sebring models.
