Official summary
This bulletin supersedes 26-2280. Reason for update: To add 2027 vehicle models, update the Parts list to change the tape, and revise Step 4 to change the tape and wrap an additional wiring harness. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model Statement above may exhibit a concern where the horn intermittently sounds when turning the steering wheel. This may be due to incorrect routing of a wire harness in the steering wheel, a loose strand of wire protruding from a wire harness and grounding the driver airbag, and/or a concern with one of the driver airbag mounting points.
