CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION NORTH AMERICA Purge Valve Hose SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION The purge valve hose on about 15,000 of the above vehicles may become disconnected from the intake manifold or the purge solenoid. This condition can cause an engine misfire, rough running and hard starting. In addition, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may illuminate on the instrument panel cluster.
