Whistling Noise from Driver Side 6x9 Exterior Mirror Area Issue present on MY25 onward standard (6x9) exterior mirrors. The hole shape and surface around the ambient temperature sensor can cause a whistle. If there are customer complaints for wind noise or whistle on the driver side the mirror temperature sensor access door could be the root cause. The cause can be verified by re-creating the issue and then taping over the sensor opening. If after taping the noise is eliminated this is the cause.
