Official summary
The ACSM control unit, which controls the driving safety and driving dynamics sensor system, may be faulty. Cracks could have formed on the printed circuit board during production. In very rare cases, the crack can enlarge due to mechanical load and lead to failure of the control unit. In this case, the driver will be informed accordingly by various warning displays about the failure and deactivation of the driving safety functions as well as restricted driving dynamics functions.
