Official summary
Before replacing front strut assembly components for a noise issue, please inspect the front upper strut mount bushings (LT/RT) by removing the plastic push pins and inspecting the mount BUSHING under the plastic cowl plenum (screen). 1.) If bushing looks worn, replace OR 2.) Replace the front upper strut mount first to see if replacing just the mount(s) resolves the issue.
