Some 2025 Expedition/Navigator vehicles built on or before 06-Oct-2025 may exhibit a rear "Liftgate And Tailgate Ajar" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) at all times and/or an inoperative power liftgate or tailgate. This may be due to a pinched harness under the 3rd row left-hand seat belt retractor bracket. Inspect the left-hand seat belt retractor bracket prior to starting tailgate and liftgate ajar diagnostics.
